History Timeline

After working as a project engineer struggling to understand machine guarding design requirements and early Pre-development review legislation (PDR) Renee Frigault left the automotive industry to study biomechanics with the intention of specializing in how people interact with machinery. After working for another safety consulting company, she left to start Lucid Engineering in 2008. She founded the company with the intention of promoting understanding of machine safety principles throughout industry (hence the name Lucid Engineering) and the company has since grown. Today we are a team of experienced engineers and consultants providing machine safety evaluations and training for a wide range of industries including but not limited to automotive, pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics, mining and others.
